1000 Books Before Kindergarten Storytime

  Join us for storytime and information about the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program. We will share stories, songs, a craft and more! We will have handy Grab n’ Go bags filled with books for check out to start you off on your 1KBK journey. This outdoor event will take place on the Library’s terrace. Come have the ultimate bonding experience with your little one with Zumbini and Miss Lauren. Zumbini is an early childhood educational program that uses original music and movement to promote cognitive, social, fine/gross motor skills, and emotional development for children. Enjoy can’t-stop, won’t-stop bonding, dancing, and laughing with Miss Lauren!


Ladybug Storytime and Release

Saturday, June 5
Interest: 36 months – 5 years with caregiver, 3:15pm-3:45pm.
Interest: Grades K – 3, 4:00pm-4:30pm.
Join us as we read stories about ladybugs, do a craft and then, wait for it, release live ladybugs into our garden! This outdoor event will take place on the Library’s Union Avenue lawn. Please provide a blanket or beach towel.


Tech Club: 3D Pen Sculptures

Tuesday, June 8
Interest: Grades 3 - 4.
Use your imagination and create a masterpiece with our 3D Pens!  Similar to a 3D printer, these handheld pens melt plastic filament to be molded into different shapes.  Draw in the air or on a pattern to make a cool 3D object of your very own.

Learn Spanish with Bilingual Birdies via Zoom

Interest: Recommended for infants to age 6 with caregiver.
Experience the online bilingual magic with live music, a bubble dance party and an entertaining puppet show!  In our 45-minute online class, families enjoy the same lively fun from in-person classes with Myla Birdie and an outstanding bilingual teaching musician!  Kids are encouraged to move, jump, sing, and dance along with their guitar-playing teacher as they increase their vocabulary in Spanish!  Please provide your preferred email address in the note field.  Participants will be emailed the Zoom link.
