The COVID-19 Coronavirus has impacted our world significantly in the past several days. The safety of our employees and their families are of paramount importance to DuraVent and Security Chimneys. We are taking precautionary measures that will help protect our employees, their families, our supply chain partners and our customers, and aid in reducing the spread of the COVID-19 Coronavirus.
- We have implemented a temporary non-essential travel ban for all of our employees that is currently in place through Friday, March 27, 2020. We will continue to monitor the situation and make changes to this policy as needed.
- Our procurement team has worked with suppliers to ensure minimal (if any) disruption of raw material and component supply for our production facilities.
- The Health & Safety organization has made enhancements to our standard sanitary control practices.
- The Human Resources department has issued guidelines and reminders to our employees relating to health, sanitation and self-quarantine protocols if they are symptomatic, have been in a high-risk area or if they have been in proximity of someone infected with the COVID-19 Coronavirus.
