Moon Rise at Baseline Road
Diamond Heart Colorado
February 2023

Public Newsletter

We ... see that by understanding ego, rather than transcending it, we can understand and actualize the reality of what it is to be a human being.

EXPERIENCES OF THE NEW CENTER
Enlightened Heart at The Center
It was the evening of Sunday, January 8th, 2023. Gina and I had just finished teaching the second weekend of the Enlightened
Heart.

As I was exiting the Center, I was suddenly face to face with the rising moon (lead photo). It
was magnificent! It stopped me right there! I was sure it was smiling at us!

It felt as if the moon wanted to partake of the blessings that were plentiful in our Center that evening. The sweetness and pleasurable presence reflected in the orange glow of the brilliant full moon; the snow extending in front of me reflected the purity of heart that filled us all present in that teaching.

And I was standing there, bathed in the warm presence that is becoming more and more palpable
as it imbues itself into the bricks, the walls and space of our new Ridhwan Center of Colorado,
transforming it into a Sacred Space, a Living Center of the Work!
Andreas

I was just out at our new center for the last retreat.

Zoom has some perks in that it goes world wide! The contact via the Zoom screen can be very direct.

But for me (it is) not as palpable as I realized when I was physically present at the center recently!!  After all Zoom is two dimensional!

The field of Presence is so alive at the center.

While I could feel heart contact through Zoom when doing inquiry, the living reality at the center created dialectic inquiry with my partners -- so intimate and even cozy!!

Love Jim (Crawford)

I attended one of the in person DH9 sessions at the new center in October. As I sat for our meditation, I was surprised by a strong sense of the land and the building calling to me and to all our community to come, to attend to our space. It was as though the land and building were beckoning us to come, that it was patiently waiting to serve us and was looking forward to all of us building our center, building our new field of presence and community in our new home.

I was deeply touched and moved by this. Since then, I’ve heard from other community teachers and students that they have had similar experiences. My heart was and is gladdened and warmed by this experience.

May we all contribute to our new center, enlivening and investing it with each of our personal presences.

DHTEN accepting new students

Diamond Heart Ten (DHTEN) has just finished the in depth exploration of the Green Latifa,
the Compassion aspect of our nature. We had opportunity to delve into some deep places in
our souls. That is one of the effects of the Green aspect; it will touch the painful places and
bring them up so they can be looked at and soothed by the healing balm of compassion.
That can begin or continue the healing process.

We are still accepting new students. You can find out more at our next introductory online
event, and at our website at: DiamondHeartColorado.com There you can also find the application
that you can fill out and send to us should you wish to try DHTEN and see if it's a good fit for you.
