Joy Abundant - True Nature
Diamond Heart Colorado
June 2023

Public Newsletter

The path of the heart is poetic and devotional, yet it ushers us into the full awakening of spirit . . .  It is the indestructible goodness that is potential for all of us.

Almaas, A. H.. Nondual Love (p. xix). Shambhala. Kindle Edition.

MOVIES ARE BACK!

Our Colorado Life Service Group warmly invites you to a Sunday Movie Matinee on Sunday, June 18, at 2pm. The movie we will show is “Blackbird” starring Susan Sarandon whose character, Lily, has ALS and is choosing to end her life before the disease advances further. She invites her family to gather at her home and be present with her. Following the movie, we will gather together for an optional discussion and check in about how the movie touched us. Light snacks and refreshments will be available. This will mark the first movie in our new Center and after the pandemic stopped us and we’re delighted to be offering this again. We hope you can join us. MORE

We just finished the teaching on the Will aspect.
On our next weekend we will be exploring the essence of Joy.

Where does joy come from? Is it an externally caused feeling,
or is it a more substantial aspect of our true nature?
Where is the source of true and real joy?
You can join us for the weekend and
at the same time
find out if the Diamond Path is right for you.

We all want to have joy in our lives. But for many of us, joy is an elusive feeling that comes and goes at will.

We try to find joy in activities, in relationships, in possessions.

So where does joy arise from? What is it related to?

Is it possible to find joy that is independent from all external factors?

In this webinar, Laurie Wattell will explore the subject and give us a taste
of the delight of joy that springs from within the very core of our hearts.

No prior experience necessary.  Invite your friends.

Every other Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:30 pm MT in PERSON IN DURANGO, CO (June 13 & 27, July 11 & 25, August 8 & 22). $150 for the series with sliding scale.

Please read the assigned chapter before each meeting.

OTHER CONTRIBUTIONS
Basic trust
is the soul’s way of attuning to a fundamental law of reality,
the fact that our sense of existing as a separate and isolated entity is false, that our ego experience of isolation and helplessness is an illusion based on identification with the world of physical manifestation.

Knowing that we are all part of one reality means that our true nature is not defined by ego experience in the physical body and cannot be fundamentally hurt or destroyed.

– A. H. Almaas, Facets of Unity
