Cork Medical Doubles Impact in Fight Against Hunger with Gleaners Food Bank Partnership

The Cork team was able to volunteer Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana as a part of their Food Pantry Drive Thru. The team spent time directing traffic, bagging bulk food items, and provided customers with healthy and nourishing food. At their most efficient, Gleaners can squeeze as many as 8 meals from a dollar. Cork was able to donate $3,000 that will be very helpful to our neighbors. And even better, during the month of September, Corteva Agriscience provided a match for any contribution to Gleaners. Cork Medical had twice the impact, producing an even greater difference in the lives of thousands of Hoosiers experiencing food insecurity.  What a rewarding way to spend our day!

Cork Medical Treats Employees to Cereal Bar and Kickin’ Chicken Luncheon

Cork Medical hosted its very first cereal bar. Employees got to choose from over 12 different kinds of cereal for breakfast. With leftovers, we were munching Frosted Flakes and Lucky Charms for the entire week. What fun!  In addition to our cereal bar, the corporate office also enjoyed a Kickin’ Chicken Luncheon with catering from our local KFC. Employees enjoyed the original recipe: chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy, coleslaw, mac and cheese, and biscuits! What a fun way to celebrate our team’s success!

Cork Medical Employees Showcase Custom Tie-Dye for Spirit Week Finale

In preparation for Cork Medical’s upcoming spirit week, employees took a few minutes out of their work day to design their very own Cork Medical Tie Dye t-shirt. Employees both at the local office and branch offices will be proudly wearing their newly tie-dyed clothing during the final day of Spirit Week! We can’t wait to see all of the creative designs. Look for photos of the tie dye shirts from both the local and branch offices in the November Newsletter!
