Dear friends,
It's been a busy month of travel for the ROI team! We had the opportunity to present our trauma, resilience and systems change work in February at the Neighborhood Economics conference in San Antonio, as well as the North Carolina Network of Grantmakers conference in Winston-Salem.
Back at home in Edgecome County, we're already gearing up for summer and recruiting young people for our Young Civic Leaders internship program in partnership with the Town of Tarboro. Several of the young people nominated to participate this year were referred by Edgecombe's Juvenile Crime Prevention Council, and we're excited to be partnering with the Council to create positive opportunities for youth.
We have several upcoming trainings and community meetings—more information and links to RSVP are below. We're looking forward to seeing you virtually or in Edgecombe this spring!

Promise Program is now offering career support to Edgecombe County residents through Edgecombe County Community College. Students can get tuition assistance and access to a career navigator.
