ROI Tip: Sprint Planning
We love when organizations share their tips with us for creating a more efficient organization--let us return the favor with this tip for your next annual planning process!

One of ROI's co-founders, Vichi Jagannathan, is an engineer by trade. Many engineers use a planning process called sprints to map out their projects for the year. A sprint is a short period of time when a team completes a set amount of work. Sprints can be helpful to break down large, complex projects into smaller, digestible pieces.

ROI uses sprints to assist in our project planning processes. Click here for a short video on how we use this strategy and our successes with the method.  Then, try creating your own sprint plan with this helpful template.

It’s time to allow your mental & physical health flourish!

ROI supports people's healing process by educating, reshaping systemic practices, and fostering deep-rooted connections. We know people are not to blame for the trauma and stress that impacts them. Resilience is an inner strength in all humans, regardless of background, and we as people are wired for connection and healing. We strive to end generational cycles of trauma and poverty by preventing adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and toxic stress for the community in rural Eastern North Carolina. Often, social innovation processes leave out rural communities of color. We believe in and know the deep assets that exist in rural communities like ours, and seek to smash together disparate worlds to change the narrative commonly held about rural communities.
