Since COVID-19 we live in a different world, the 'new normal'. Nevertheless, if possible, we want to continue to establish and maintain contacts with our (potential) customers. That doesn't always have to be physical, as we will show. Is membership of a trade association useful in this respect? And also: FEDESSA's annual report is here again, we will explain some important trends and developments for you. But we start with news of which we ourselves are very proud.

FEDESSA, the European industry association, recently released the European Industry Report 2019, on trends and developments in the European self storage industry. A look to the future is not shunned. For those who don't have the time to go through it, we'll take a few currants out of the porridge.

Doing business during the 'new normal'

| During the new normal there is a barrier for many parties to physically visit our location. Also, a customer visit from our account manager is not always appreciated. A pity, but there are other possibilities to make contact with (potential) customers.

Become a member of an industry association, is that necessary?
|

Being a member of a trade association gives you contacts, of course, but it also costs a lot of money. Can you build a relevant network within the self storage world smarter and cheaper? Mark Elsendoorn talks about his experiences.

New location: DK Storage in Witten, Germany
|
|
|
|
We recently started the construction of a storage park for DK Storage in Germany. The site was used as a shunting yard for Deutsche Bahn and now offers space for no less than 65 containers.
DK Storage has chosen for our containers because they want to give the customer optimal freedom. After all, they can park their containers on this location directly in front of their own storage space. The need for engine storage is also great. Several container units are equipped with a power supply for this purpose.
In the coming years, DK Storage intends to expand further in the Ruhr area.
